Number of servings: 4Cooking time: 2 h 40 minDifficulty: DifficultMeal: Lunch

Arab cuisine is very diverse and delicious. Those who have traveled to Eastern countries at least once did not miss the opportunity to see for themselves. For those who have not been to the East, we suggest you arrange it in your kitchen. Since Arabs like to eat hearty meals, meat is undoubtedly a popular product for them. Here is what we will prepare. We will take beef as a basis (pork is forbidden to be consumed due to religious tradition in their countries), which we will stew with tomatoes. And since we mentioned that Arabs like to eat hearty meals, we cannot do without a side dish. It can be boiled rice and fried potatoes, and where can we do without spicy Arabic sauce?! Do not forget about this spicy "highlight" of Eastern cuisine!

Preparation steps

01

Prepare the main ingredient - meat. Cut into large pieces, then salt and pepper it. Chop the herbs and sprinkle them on the meat, and also add citric acid (a few drops will be enough). Infuse the meat in this marinade for about 2 hours.

02

The next step will be to sauté the tomatoes. They should be washed, scalded with boiling water, cut and peeled. Then cut them into slices and place in a saucepan with olive oil. Add garlic slices, finely chopped onion to the tomatoes and sauté. Add ground black pepper, a couple of drops of citric acid and salt.

03

When the meat is marinated, fry it with fat, and then transfer it to the vegetables in a saucepan. Then fry it together with the stewed vegetables over low heat, covered. When serving, sprinkle each portion with herbs.
