Traditional Spanish tapas, served hot in a ceramic dish with sizzling oil. Prepared in 10-15 minutes from start to finish - perfect for a quick dinner. Minimal ingredients but flawless taste that will be remembered for a long time.

Variations

- Classic on the pan: frying shrimp with garlic and olive oil.

- With white wine: adding 100 ml of dry white wine for a more complex flavor.

- In the oven: baking at 200 degrees with tomatoes and baguette for serving.

Tenderness secrets

- Do not overcook the shrimp - they cook in 1-2 minutes; overcooking makes them rubbery.

- Use only high-quality cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil.

- Serve and eat hot: the shrimp continue to cook in the hot oil.

Ingredient tips

- Shrimp should preferably be raw and large tiger - they are best suited for this dish.

- Cut the garlic into thin slices so that it browns evenly and does not burn.

- Fresh white bread is necessary for dipping in the aromatic oil - this is an integral part of the dish.

Culinary nuances

- 10 minutes before cooking, rub the shrimp with salt - this will help them stay juicy.

- Fry the garlic on low heat first, so it turns golden, not black.

- In a ceramic dish, the oil stays hot longer, so serve in it.
