Borscht is a symbol of Ukrainian hospitality and culinary tradition. Its rich aroma, vibrant color, and the addition of mushrooms create a unique taste suitable for both family dinners and festive occasions. There are many regional variations: with beans, dumplings, flour, or even with beer. Mushrooms make the borscht richer and are perfect for a vegetarian version.
