Preparation steps

Prepare the wheat — wash the wheat, cover with water and cook until soft. ⏱ 60 min. Guideline: the wheat should be soft but not overcooked.

Prepare the poppy seeds — pour boiling water over the poppy seeds and leave for 30 minutes, then drain and grind. ⏱ 30 min. Guideline: the poppy seeds will become soft after grinding.

Mixing the ingredients — combine the wheat, poppy seeds, honey and nuts, mix well. ⏱ 20 min. Guideline: the ingredients should combine into a homogeneous mass.
