
Baked roll made of pita with chicken and mushrooms
Pita is very convenient for making a lot of dishes - pies, snacks or just eating it separately. It can be done at home or you can just buy it. The reason why it is better to cook pita at home is that it is not very difficult, but the feeling of proud for yourself that you master the dish of arabic cuisine worth a time spent on its cooking. Only 5 ingredients are needed for this - warm water, flour, yeast, salt and oil. As a stuffing we use in this recipe chicken, mushrooms and onion as main components. They are a classic combination for a perfect dish in any cuisine.

Preparation steps

Put mushrooms and onion in a blender bowl. Grind everything. Heat the pan, add oil, fry the mushrooms and onion mix. Add salt and sugar to your taste. Finely chop the chicken. Grate the cheese.

Lay out the pita on the table. Spread half of it with mayonnaise, put chicken at teh top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Cover the part of pita with mayonnaise with clear half of pita, spread it with mayonnaise, put fried mushrooms and onions there, sprinkle with cheese. Twist the roll.

Cover the baking sheet with a baking paper and spread with butter, put a roll of pita, spread it with a mixture of egg and mayonnaise. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes to brown.
