A wine made from a blend of white Macabeo, Chardonnay and Xarello grapes grown in the Valencia region of Spain. Cava is a sparkling wine made according to the classical method. The sparkling wine is lime green in color. Fine, abundant bubbles and a stable, thick mousse. The aroma is fresh with notes of green apple, citrus, white flowers, pineapple, pear and bread crust. The taste is delicate and pronounced with creamy tones, green apples, toast and a long and persistent citrus aftertaste. Goes well with Asian cuisine, lean fish, grilled seafood and white meat.
