KOTÀNYI Smoked paprika is characterised by a savoury smokey, slightly sweet taste. The ripe, red bell peppers are smoked over oak wood and then ground into powder as usual. Paprika unfolds its full colour in combination with fat, but paprika must not be roasted too strongly because it gets bitter then. USE: Smoked paprika gives fish dishes, soups, stews, and spreads the special something and is an important part of the traditional Spanish sausage chorizo.
