Rougette is a soft type of cheese. His homeland is considered to be Bavaria. The production technology is truly unique and requires a particularly careful approach. It is prepared on the basis of cow's milk and cream. During the ripening process, the cheese crust is wiped with brine 5 times. Paprika is added to the washed crust, which gives it a reddish color. This cheese is very "picky", therefore, during its production, temperature regimes, humidity and manufacturing processes are carefully controlled. The result exceeds all expectations - a spicy cheese with clear ammonia notes in taste and aroma, with a delicate creamy middle. This cheese perfectly complements light white wine. It is also often added to baked goods or salads.
