Peony-like. An annual plant. Shrub columnar, 50-70 cm tall peduncles slightly leafy, 35-50 cm long terry inflorescences, 8-12 cm in diameter, red. Up to 30 inflorescences are formed on the bushes on the branches of the first and second order. Used for cutting. When sowing seeds, remember that the seeds that germinate can not withstand drying of the soil, as well as excess moisture and sharp temperature fluctuations.

Астра - род травянистых растений семейства Астровые (или Сложноцветные). Все астры имеют похожи на звезды цветки с желтыми серединками и внешними лучами (Не лепестками) различной формы от голубого и фиолетового до белого цвета самого разного размера. Многие виды культивируют как садовые цветы, включая F. novabelgii. Морская астра Aster tripolium - дикорастущая растение, встречается на прибрежных скалах на юге Англии.
