Quickbury Stollen Christ with raisins is a traditional Christmas pastry originally from Germany. Stollen is usually baked at Christmas. Stollens are baked in advance, in a cool place, and can be stored for several months. But this does not mean that stollen cannot be eaten right away. Freshly baked product tastes like Easter cake, and ripened in a cool place, it is in between a muffin and shortcrust pastry. And the longer the stollen matures, the tastier it becomes.
