To cook a good juicy steak, you must follow a few important rules of cooking meat. It is worth mentioning that the correct original steak can be cooked only of beef. But nowadays steaks can be cooked of veal, and fish, and pork, and as in this case of chicken fillet. Frozen meat should be thawed at room temperature, then it has time to warm up properly. After washing the meat, it should be dried with paper towels or clean cloth, not to leave excess moisture from the outside. Raw steak should be put on a hot frying pan and be fried over high heat first from both sides for 1 minute to "close" the fibers so they will not let the juice out during further cooking.

  1. 1. Chicken fillet — 3 pcs
  2. 2. Italian herbs mix — 1 tsp
  3. 3. Paprika — 1 tbsp
  4. 4. Nutmeg — 1 tsp

Stages of cooking

  1. Tenderize chicken with meat hammer.

  2. Add the mix of Italian herbs, paprika, nutmeg in a bowl.

  3. Grind garlic. Add it to seasonings, also add salt, pepper, pour one tablespoon of vegetable oil. Mix all the components.

  4. Coat tenderized chicken with the seasoning mix from both sides.

  5. Pour two tablespoons of vegetable oil in a frying pan, heat it. Fry each steak from both sides for one minute.

  6. Put fried steaks in a baking dish. Cover meat with foil.

  7. Heat the oven to 180ºC degrees. Put the baking dish in the oven and cook for 10 minutes. During this time you can prepare vegetables for garnish, chop fresh herbs: parsley, dill, green onions.

  8. Ready steaks put on a plate, cover them with juice which meat gave during the process of cooking. Put vegetables near steaks, sprinkle them with herbs.
