Bastille 1789 combines the Scottish tradition of double distillation with a unique French charm, maturing in casks that previously held noble Sauternes wines and Cognac. The aroma is soft, with notes of orange marmalade, dried apricots, and gingerbread. The palate is dry and delicate, featuring hints of candied fruit, zest, and light mineral-spicy notes in the finish.
