Description

A deep ruby-colored wine with garnet highlights. It has a dense and rich taste with a pronounced tannin structure. The taste is dominated by berries such as blackcurrant and cherry, with subtle notes of chocolate and vanilla. Long finish with velvety tannins and light spice. Rich and complex aroma dominated by notes of blackcurrant, cherry, plum, and black cherry. The bouquet is complemented by light hints of spices, oak, and tobacco. It pairs well with red meat, game, mature cheeses, and meat appetizers. SHABO is one of the oldest Ukrainian terroirs, with a history dating back over 2,000 years. Located between the Dniester Estuary and the Black Sea, with ideal soils and climate, the uniqueness and potential of this region was recognized by the Swiss as early as 1822.
