Description

Original Dark conveys the rich and intense style of Jamaican (aged 10-15 years) and Barbadian (aged 1-3 years) rums, blended and aged for 3 to 6 months in cognac barrels in southwestern France. The aroma reveals notes of plums, bananas, and vanilla, seasoned with hints of cinnamon, cloves, and smoke. The taste is sweet and spicy with hints of white raisins, dried pineapple, and spices. The aftertaste is quite persistent and harmonious. It tastes best at 18-20°C neat, as a base for cocktails, or in cooking.
