Plantation Fiji 2004 Rum 50.3% 0.7l

The rum was distilled in 2004 and aged for 13 years in bourbon barrels in a tropical climate, 2 years in France in Ferran cognac barrels. The bouquet begins with shades of morning coffee, vanilla and caramel, with time notes of peaches, orange peel, bananas, cooked pears, walnuts and cocoa are revealed. The taste is buttery with notes of quince, citrus peel and coconut, and notes of cinnamon and balsamic complete the palette. The aftertaste is very long with hints of smoky molasses, cocoa, almonds, cherries, apples and cloves.
