Brown cane lump sugar of TM “ATA” is a Demerara sugar keeping its natural brown colour and exclusive irregular form.
Brown cane lump sugar of TM “ATA” is produced from elite cane sorts grown in Mauritius. It is composed of gold sugar crystals covered with brown molasses keeping its natural biologically active agents and microelements of sugar cane.
By tradition, in the Oriental countries they have never put lump sugar in a cup of tea but have held it in their mouth while drinking tea. Crushed (lump) sugar is obtained by crushing moulded sugar cones.
Lump sugar of our trademarks contains mineral substances such as iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and group B vitamins which are usually absent in an ordinary sugar.
