Description

Shukety are light, fluffy airy balls made from golden choux pastry. They are sprinkled with granulated sugar, which gives them a wonderfully crunchy texture. Like profiteroles, these balls are filled with custard, whipped cream or topped with fruit sauce or melted chocolate. Any sweet spices, such as ginger or cinnamon, are added to the dough for these pastries. The dough turns out shiny and very soft, but quite dense.
