Description
It is an achiote paste made from annatto seeds, spices and tomatoes. It is used to add color and is also an excellent seasoning. Annatto seeds are grown in the humid tropical weather of the Yucatan Peninsula in southeastern Mexico. Ideal for marinating or cooking pork, as well as beef, chicken and many other MEXICAN dishes for grilled or fried foods.
