Perennial winter-hardy semi-shrub with numerous shoots up to 60cm high. The flowers are small, collected in spike-shaped inflorescences, smell pleasant. Lavender has a strong spicy aromatic and spicy-tart, slightly bitter taste. Blooms in July-August. Sow for seedlings in late February - early March. Seeds need stratification within 30-40 days at a temperature of 50C. It germinates in the light at a temperature of 15-210C. In May, seedlings are planted in the ground.
