Description

It is distinguished by a strong aroma reminiscent of linden blossom. The taste is sharp and slightly bitter. In liquid form, it ranges in color from greenish-yellow to light amber. The color and intensity of flavor vary depending on the region of origin. After crystallization, it acquires a fine-grained consistency and changes color to white-yellow or golden-yellow. Linden honey has expectorant, antipyretic, calming, and antispasmodic properties. It is used in the treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the upper respiratory tract, throat, tonsillitis, sinuses, and bronchitis. Due to its high antibiotic activity, it is also used for urinary tract diseases, rheumatic conditions, and neuroses.
