Description
Sunflower is an important honey plant. The flowering period of sunflower lasts from 20 to 70 days. Bees collect pollen and nectar from it. The honey productivity of sunflower is 30–40 kg per hectare. A specific feature of sunflower nectar is the complete absence or insignificant content (3–4%) of cane sugar in it.
Sunflower seeds contain many vitamins PP and E. It is characterized by a light golden or light amber color. It crystallizes very quickly into a coarse-grained mass.
