Azalea Mix 30cm

The beautifully flowering perennial azalea (Azalea) is a member of the Heather family. This plant is also called indoor rhododendron. Azalea is native to China, Japan and India. The name of the plant translates as "rose tree".  

Temperature. In summer - from 12 to 18 degrees, and in winter - from 6 to 10 degrees (not warmer than 13 degrees).  

Humidity. Needs high humidity, daily spraying from a sprayer is necessary.  

Illumination. It is necessary to provide a large amount of bright light, but at the same time the bush needs protection from direct sunlight.  

Watering. The soil mixture in the pot is moistened systematically and abundantly. It is not allowed to dry out.  

Substrate. It should have an increased acidity and be light.  

Fertilizer. Feed in spring and summer 2 times a month. For this purpose, use fertilizers for azaleas.  

Repotting. Conducted in the spring once every two or three years.  

Propagation. Top cuttings.  

Features of care. The plant feels best in a cool place. Requires mandatory pruning in the spring.
