Calathea is an ornamental foliage plant that requires special care to achieve the best results.

Care:

Lighting: Needs diffused light or partial shade. Direct sunlight can cause burns on the leaves, so it should be placed in rooms with east or west facing windows. If you have south-facing windows, you should protect the plant from direct sunlight with curtains or drapes.

Watering: The plant needs regular watering, but does not like stagnant water. Water when the topsoil is slightly dry. Use soft, filtered or settled water that is chlorine-free. Make sure no water remains in the drip tray.

Fertilization: To maintain healthy growth and a good appearance, it is recommended to fertilize regularly. Use a liquid fertilizer for indoor plants. Follow the instructions on the package to avoid overdosing.
