Action of the main components of the cream-balm:
• Comfrey — known for its ability to accelerate the healing of damaged tissues, especially bone tissue; it can have regenerative, bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, and stimulating effects. This effect is observed when treating wounds and applying comfrey poultices and ointments. In cases of bone fractures, dislocations, sprains, and ligament tears, comfrey poultices and compresses are used. This activity is due to allantoin, which is found in comfrey in higher amounts than in any other plant.
• Bee venom — contains organic acids, proteins, amines, volatile oils, and enzymes; exhibits pronounced anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antibiotic properties, and may help improve blood circulation and metabolism at the site of application.
