I. Stone Van Gogh Thirst for Life Book
Who is he, Van Gogh: a madman who cut off part of his ear, or a temperamental genius who changed our vision of art? His life was littered with rejection, extremes and contradictions. Vincent was a pastor for a time and then lived with a prostitute he called his wife. He could walk 70 kilometers to get to a contemporary exhibition, and painted from dawn to dusk under the scorching sun or gusts of wind. In the 10 years of creativity described in the pages of this book, Vincent has created more than 900 paintings and 1,000 sketches.
