Casey McQuiston One Last Stop Book

She is the most important person in her life. Even though they might never have met…
August is twenty-three. She is convinced that neither magic nor movie-like love exists, and that the only sensible way to live this life is to stay alone. August believes that not even moving in with quirky roommates in New York City or working at a 24-hour pancake diner can change that. And, of course, there is no chance that a daily subway commute will turn from a routine battle with boredom and power outages into something more..
Then one day in a subway car, August meets a captivating girl. Jane. Dazzling, charming, mysterious, impossible Jane. Sharp features, messy hair, and a soft smile — that is exactly how Jane appears in her leather jacket to save August's morning when she needs it most.
Subway Girl sightings gradually become the best part of August's day. But soon she realizes that Jane doesn't just look like a '70s punk rocker, she literally moved through time from that era. Now August will have to return to what she tried to leave in the past to help Jane and ultimately believe that miracles do happen.
"One Last Stop" by Casey McQuiston is a magical, sexy, and heartfelt story where the impossible becomes possible as August does everything in her power to save a girl lost in time.
