Description
Universal filter cartridge for cold and hot beverages. The Maxtra Pro All-in-1 cartridge has four stages of purification and provides delicious, freshly purified water. An ultra-fine mesh captures solid particles from old pipes. Natural microcarbon from coconut shells filters out micro-impurities such as certain herbicides, pesticides, and medical drugs. Effective ion exchange resin granules soften the water, protect household appliances from limescale, reduce the content of heavy metals such as lead and copper, and reduce the amount of substances that impair the taste and smell of water, such as chlorine. An additional high-performance filter mesh further purifies the water from impurities. The BRITA Maxtra Pro cartridge is truly eco-friendly: it is made from 50% bio-based plastic from renewable biological sources such as crops and plants, and replaces up to 150 plastic water bottles (1 liter each). Compatible with all BRITA water filter jugs (except the Classic range). Cartridge capacity up to 150 liters. Replace the cartridge every four weeks.
