Neil Gaiman Coraline Book
The children's story "Coraline" received a number of prestigious awards: the "Nebula" and "Hugo" awards for best story, the "Bram Stoker" award for young readers, the "Locus" award for best story for teenagers.
The book was followed by a cartoon, which became the first full-length puppet cartoon shot in 3D and nominated for an Oscar.
Sometimes the door is closed for a reason… Something strange is happening in Coralina's new house. The strange thing is neither the fog or the cat that seems to be watching her, nor the signs of danger (in which Coralina found herself) that Miss Primula and Forsibilli (Coralina's new neighbors) saw in the teapots. The real wonder is "another house" behind the old door in the living room. "Other Mom and Dad" with black buzzing eyes and snow-paper skin were waiting for Coraline. Now they want her to stay with them. Forever. Coraline knows that if she walks in that door, she may never come back.
