Nastia Melnichenko was born in 1984 in Kiev. She is a social activist, former journalist, and mother of two sons, Yaroslav and Severin. 

In July 2016, the Internet was blown up by a powerful campaign #YaNeBoySay, in which thousands of women and men told their stories. They were very strong and difficult stories - stories of violence. This action rocked not only in Ukraine, but also beyond its borders. At the same time, conversations began about what to do to prevent so much violence in the world.
