Ivan Kotlyarevsky Natalka Poltavka. Moskal the Wizard Book
The collection includes two plays by Ivan Kotliarevsky recommended for study in grade 9. In the social drama "Natalka Poltavka" the author truthfully depicted life in the Ukrainian village of the 19th century. And in the vaudeville "Moskal the Wizard" he wittily reinterpreted the story of marital infidelity. I. Kotlyarevsky's plays are characterized by expressively created characters from different walks of life, accurately traced relationships between people, lively language and songs.
