Fisher-Price Bucket with Blocks Play Set

The sorter toy is suitable for children from 6 months to 2 years of age, but may also be of interest to slightly older children.

The Fisher-Price dice bucket is simple, with no loud music or lights. It has a blue bucket with an orange handle, a yellow lid with holes in the shape of geometric shapes and 10 different colored shapes: square, triangle, star, cylinder for a round hole and a cross. (Each shape is 2 pieces). 

At 3 6 months of age, children do not yet understand that each hole in the lid belongs to a specific shape. But they are happy to put small toys and rattles in the bucket and then take them out. Put in a bucket, closed it - oh, no toy! Looked inside - here it is a toy! This simple game of hide-and-seek evokes emotion and great fun every time. 

From about 9 months - closer to 1 year old children discover the real purpose of the Bucket Sorter and by the age of 2 the toy becomes one of their favourites. Toddlers can patiently sort and learn why a square won't fit into a round hole and a triangle into a star. Playing with the sorter trains movement coordination, motor skills, eye-hand coordination, promotes mental development and familiarises children with shapes and colours.

From the age of 2, you can put a spatula and your favourite Easter eggs in the bucket and stomp off to the sandpit with your mother, carrying the little treasure in the beautiful blue bucket.
