Preparation steps

Prepare the Tomato Sauce (20 minutes): In a hot pan with oil, sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic until soft (5 minutes). Add the tomatoes, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes.

Prepare the Cheese Filling (10 minutes): In a large bowl, combine the cottage cheese, egg, 150 g of grated mozzarella, and 25 g of parmesan. Mix well.

Assemble the Lasagna (15 minutes): Grease the bottom of a baking dish with a little tomato sauce. Lay down the first layer of lasagna sheets.

Form the Layers: On the sheets, spread half of the cheese filling. Pour a portion of the tomato sauce over it. Cover with a new layer of lasagna. Repeat the layers.
