Tomatin Double Cask is a whisky that embodies the harmony of two worlds: the soft notes of vanilla and caramel from ex-bourbon barrels and the luxurious tones of dark chocolate and dried fruits from Oloroso sherry casks. The medium-bodied palate follows the aromatic profile, showcasing rich notes of dark fruits (prunes, figs) that blend harmoniously with hints of ginger and cinnamon. The sweetness is balanced by a subtle spicy bitterness of dark chocolate. The finish is of medium length, with a pleasant balance of sweetness and warming spices.
