Description

Port Askaig 25 Year Old is a liquid story of the Isle of Islay, told through elegant smoke and unexpected brightness. The bouquet opens with notes of coal smoke, tropical fruits such as pineapple, lychee, and guava juice. Over time, soft notes of garden flowers, peach, cherry, and burnt matches emerge. The taste is deep and rich, with hints of cured meat, leather, nuts, and spices. The finish is very long, with touches of dry fireplace smoke, thyme, and bay leaf.
