Description
Dunville's 1808 is a modern Irish Pot Still whiskey, with 32% malted barley and 68% grain whiskey from Echlinville, aged in new oak casks. The initial burst of delicate sweet vanilla gradually gives way to refined notes of garden fruits—ripe apples and pears. Over time, layers of lemon curd, candied lemon zest, and a soft honey-like sweetness emerge. The taste is rounded, with notes of ripe lemon meringue, white pepper, and warm woody charcoal. The finish is exquisite, with hints of dry smoke, fruity undertones, and a long-lasting chord of sweet spices.
