Description
The whisky is produced by the Asaka distillery from a blend of grain whiskies (corn-based) and its own malt whiskies (7%), double-distilled in traditional copper pot stills. It is aged in ex-bourbon barrels and virgin American oak casks. The aroma reveals sweet notes of vanilla and almond. The palate features a fruity sweetness with hints of juicy apricot and caramel, enveloped in a rounded, silky texture. The finish offers woody accents, lightly lifted by notes of roasted cocoa.
