Plantation Barbados 2007 Rum 48.7% 0.7l

The limited edition rum consists of 20 barrels of 2007 molasses rum. After two years of aging in former bourbon barrels in Barbados, the barrels were transported to Javrezac, in southwestern France, where the rum was aged for another 14 years in Ferrand cognac barrels. The bouquet is very intense and spicy with notes of sweet cinnamon and nutmeg, roasted almonds, flambé bananas, citrus zest and soft floral notes of honeysuckle and vanilla. The taste is rounded, with sweet tones of citrus, custard, crème brûlée, coconut and pepper. The aftertaste has notes of coconut, spices, honey, anise, vanilla and nuts.
