Description

Grande Reserve is a blend of various rums from Barbados, aged in bourbon casks in the Caribbean and then for one year in the southwest of France in Ferrand cognac casks. The aroma opens with notes of toasted coconut and wild vanilla. The first wave of flavor brings hints of tropical candied fruits, later developing into bourbon vanilla motifs. The palate is slightly sweet, perfectly balanced by fresh fruits and the delicate tannins of the second wave. The finish is reasonably lingering and well-balanced.
