JUGAS is an aged hard cheese. JUGAS, matured for at least 12 months, is a cheese in which the typical properties of mature cheese begin to appear. This cheese has a pleasant spicy aroma and a light piquant aftertaste. It differs in cream color, a little more saturated in the crust. The texture is firm, homogeneous and breaks quite well. JUGAS, ripening for 12 months, is like a fine seasoning that gives dishes a rich taste.
