JUGAS is an aged hard cheese. JUGAS, ripening for at least 18 months, is a medium-ripened cheese in which the harmony of intense aromas is revealed. It has a rich, slightly spicy taste with a delicate aftertaste of dried fruits. Refined crispy properties of this cheese are provided by individual crystals of calcium salts, which indicate the beginning of a new stage of cheese maturity. It is characterized by a hard rind of a matte, yellowish color with a greenish tint. JUGAS, ripening for 18 months, is an excellent cheese for snacks. Seasoned with honey and served with grapes, olives or nuts, this cheese is perfect with your chosen wine for invigoration.
