The St-Rémy distillery is named after the Rheims monk who baptized the first king of France in 459. Authentic French brandy has been produced in the city of Nantes since 1886 from high-quality French grapes grown exclusively in prestigious French vineyards such as Burgundy, Champagne, Rhone Valley, Languedoc-Roussillon, Loire Valley, Bordeaux and Beaujolais. The wine obtained from grapes is distilled, and the eau de vie obtained as a result of distillation is aged in French barrels. The length of time the alcohol is aged in barrels determines the age category of the brandy (VSOP or XO). A balanced bouquet of fruits, flowers, vanilla and shades of wood is complemented by a mixture of ginger, honey and dried apricots with hints of light spiciness. The color of brandy is bright, amber, with a slight reddish tint.

The taste of brandy has notes of fruits, flowers, vanilla and oak. The nuances of honey, gingerbread, dried apricots and spices remain in the broad aftertaste. A very well-structured, highly developed, rather complex aroma of brandy filled with notes of fruit, flowers, vanilla, wood, gingerbread and dried apricots. Brandy is great as an aperitif, good as a component of cocktails.
