Espolòn Reposado tequila is made from 100% hand-harvested blue agave juice. From start to finish, Espolòn Reposado is created at our Casa San Nicolás distillery located in prestigious Los Altos De Jalisco, Mexico. Espolòn Reposado tequila is created using a unique combination of traditional and modern methods and is the genius creation of our maestro Tequilero, Cirilo Oropeza.

To create Reposado tequila, we use only mineral-rich water from our natural well located below the distillery. We hand-pick Weber Blue Agaves and steam them in our stainless steel autoclaves. Then we add some art to the science and turn on some classical yeast music. Cirillo believed that this helped activate the yeast through the vibrations of the music's sound waves. We then double distill our tequila using a combination of different methods to give it a perfectly smooth and balanced flavor profile. Finally, we age the tequila for at least 2 months in new American oak barrels to develop a complex character and a rounded taste.

In this way, we create a true Mexican aged tequila with a rich golden color and a bold taste of roasted agave, tropical fruits and spices.

We bottle our Espolòn Reposado in a signature bottle with a distinctive label inspired by the works of the famous Mexican artist José Guadalupe Posada. Espolòn Reposado is perfect to enjoy neat or in cocktails such as Paloma, Mexican Mule or spicy Margarita. Espolòn Reposado Tequila has entered in the top 10 most sold and popular tequilas according to Drink International 2021.
